My daughter and her husband just quit their Studio City headquarters a few months ago. But this really surprised me.

Soon you’ll be able to pick-up your own radio station for the price of a gently used sedan.

Iheart owns my local sports radio station; I wonder what will happen to it.

Pop/mainstream music with a Christian message has become lame. It all sounds the same...over produced and auto tuned.

I was in the truck last week with my son. iHeart was playing on the radio and he asked me to turn it off.

“A guy at work has this station playing all day. It’s the same songs over and over again”.

Umm, how do you get over $20 billion in debt for streaming radio?

Hard to believe you can’t borrow your way to prosperity, look how well it has worked for the country with $20 Trillion in debt.

They have a product they can’t limit exclusivity or access to

It’s like having a blackberry selling franchise in Mississippi in August when any fencerow has them for free

Most radio stations have a live stream on their website

As do most content providers like Rush and Laura

I personally like iHeart. Only a short time ago Rush was not real time here in Alaska so it gave me an option to listen live. Now however, we do get it live. I’m an international airline pilot, it allows me to listen to my local radio when I’m on the road so I really don’t have any negatives.

I use youtube for my background music. I can create a playlist (from music others posted) and listen all day. The best part it is the exact music I want to listen to since I put it in my playlist.

I hated their buggy apps for my phone and for Roku so I switched to TuneIn and never looked back.

Maybe this will force the liquidation of some of their terrestrial radio monopoly. Not that any other programmers would open up playlists.

And I don’t understand why non-ClearChannel syndicated programs pushed their content on the CC-iHeartRadio app.

Gee, maybe when they decided to constantly promote their online crime drama podcasts about a lesbian truck driver looking for her “wife’s” murderer, they had no idea that wasn’t going to be an easy sell here in southern Georgia on the conservative talk station ... ya think?
