Bruce Springsteen’s abject toxic waste

Oh, relief to hear someone else feels that way. I loved his first two somewhat introspective albums, "Asbury Park" and "E Street Shuffle." I went to see him several times in a high school auditorium and in tiny clubs at the Jersey shore hardly bigger than my living room, when he had David Sancious on the grand piano. But from the inception of "Born to Run" and the slamming beat and the six speakers each the size of sports cars stacked up beside the stage, I was done.

And of course, he subsequently started spewing his leftwing drool all over the place.

Still later, he revealed he suffers from depression. Duh! One listen to "Nebraska" made that clear.

Nobody does Springsteen better than....

An early 60s doo-wop band named Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.
