It won't affect me, since I always fly in and I don't rent a car, but it makes it that much more expensive for many visitors.

Whatever the market will bear.....

The days of me being enchanted by Disney are long gone.

Why doesn’t Disney just ask for your bank account and routing number and transfer it all instead of doing so in a million bites? The end result is the same.

Nobody is forced to go to Disney World, but for the life of me, I cannot fathom why anyone would.

Wow! Boy did we just barely miss that bullet!

Of course, we only rented a car 1 to 2 days of a week, and that was because we had to drive out to visit my friend in St. Aug.

The mass transit is pretty worth it.

Of course, sometimes it’s a LONG walk to your bus.

After the politics by the Gov and Leg in fla, my twice yearly vacations to what was once a great state are done. Now ranks with California. Bye, Mickey.

Free parking is part of what made America Great.

Pay parking is a Communist Plot.

There is one kind of traveler who won’t have to pay for parking anywhere at Walt Disney World:

Those with the common sense to travel elsewhere?

Whoa whoa whoa...what’s this?

“Disney hotel guests will continue to park for free at Walt Disney World theme parks, and guests visiting Disney hotels — either to walk around Disney’s Boardwalk, dine at California Grill, or see the savannah at Animal Kingdom Lodge — will not be charged at all.”

This is a bad sentence. But do I understand it to mean “Disney hotel guests visiting Disney parks will not be charged”? If so, it’s mostly moot. Although I don’t know how they tell - do they charge after the fact, as when we parked there to go to St. Aug the next day and then SeaWorld after that? I.e., we didn’t get pinged as going to a park?

Supply and demand. There is more demand then supply. So Disney keeps raises fees until there is a balance.

It is a win win for Disney.

The change is intended to align Walt Disney World resort hotels with other full-service hotels in the industry and other domestic resort practices, according to a Disney spokesperson.

Disney doesn’t have to align anything. The INTENTION is to make more money. Let’s cut the word games.

Will they charge “per flush” for the toilets and estimate how much air you breathed?

Vacations with mountainous lines of people everywhere is not “vacation” for me.

“Disney” began 94 years ago. Why did/do parents feel it necessary to baptize their children into its religion (which is a lot older than Disney)?

Doesn’t affect parents who are able to say NO! to their children (i.e., the ones willing to spank).

Whoops, I guess it does affect most American parents.

A guest with a car is more likely to drive off reservation and spend money elsewhere. Disney wants a captive audience.
