Rosenstein did report that he would recuse himself as Acting Attorney General once Muller started looking at FISA process, since his (Rosenstein) name was on one of the three FBI applications, to the FISA court.
That tells me Muller must not be yet even nosing into a FISA investigation. Rosenstein has indicated a recusal if he is called as a witness.
The outside prosecutor whom Rosenstein/Sessions appointed may be the one working on the FISA shenanigans, perhaps a long side of the Inspector General at the FBI.
Very interesting, I didn’t make connections I am now - so Sessions directs FISA + CF, etc, prosecutor away from RR while he does the Mule. Reading between the lines of Trump weekend tweets, he was saying, “there never should have been an investigation of me, oh well, it’s caught them” lol
I wonder if his recusal, should it occur, would be as thorough as Jeff Session's recusal, or whether he'd narrowly confine it to just the FISA issue. 'Cuz, if he really recused himself, whoever replaced him would have the ability to rein Mueller in from his wildly straying witch hunt. But, if he just kept it to a narrow matter, he would only be partially recused.
