...That being said, I’ve been a very busy Bunny Hole spelunker. I dived into the Rigby Rabbit Hole, and in the Lonely Hearts Club Band hole...

I was kinda hoping a name like Aleister Crowley, or a Rothschild might show up in those hospital records somehow.

But with all of those Hollywood types there might be something interesting to look into.

Barbara Bush is a Crowley, anytime you feel like roots.comming on *this* side of the pond.

I was hoping that too, Kalam, but having difficulty establishing which was the relevant Liverpudlian one we are after. They have had an eye hospital and of course others.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Liverpool_University_Hospital

I found this general Liverpool history link: http://www.localhistories.org/liverpool.html

Here are historical pix:
http://www.liverpool-city-group.com/cgi-bin/liverpooldb.cgi?db=liverpool&postcode=L14&sb=17&so=descend&view_records=Go

Wasn’t convinced this is the relevant hospital, although it is interesting:
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/health/a-history-of-healthcare-3492855

This is one of the links I mentioned earlier, which could possible be helpful in other UK researches for that area:
http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/a?_ref=138
Has simple map at top right
Searchable collections info includes: Businesses (204)
Persons (569)
Organizations (672)
Diaries (62)
Families (20)
Paper catalogues available to view at The National Archives - (242)
Accessions
Catalog

I have not searched each of those categories.

And finally this one has other archival/geneological data links:
http://liverpool.gov.uk/libraries/archives-family-history/

There are definitely some interesting names in the national archival site. Did not see Crowley or Rothschild.

I did not even scratch the surface of where we might be wanting to go on this one. If I could nail down the hospital, then I could begin looking at the historical boards etc. It seems there was a big revamping and regrouping of hospitals there in 60-s or 70-s if I’m remembering correctly.
