I have a 3 legged cat. She was a stray that showed up in my barn, pregnant of course. She was friendly enough but never really paid her no attention. After her litter she wandered off and I thought that was that. She showed up one morning a few weeks later with a compound fractured rear leg. I scooped her up and took her to the vet and he amputated her leg. That was 10 years ago and she greets me at the front door and the minute I sit down she’s on my lap for the rest of the night.
She hasn’t been out of the house since her mishap. She is very spoiled and knows that I will pick her up and carry her to the cat dish or lift her over the pet gates in the house. She is just the sweetest...
