There are documentaries and stories about the Italian, Japanese, African American and Native Americans who fought and faced some discrimination — one example is of course Leon Uris’ “Battle Cry” (I hate to recommend stuff by Uris, but this is the only one I would recommend)_
Can you expound on Uris? I have read three books by him. I really enjoyed all three.
