No, he never got a chance to play with the Jets, Ryan refused to play him, effectively blackballing him. I cannot believe people are still spouting the “he not good enough to play” crap. He was good enough to win at Denver. His style was ugly, but he was a leader/motivator and a fighter! And he was certainly better than Sanchez, McElroy, and a host of other crappy QBs who keep being traded around the league because teams are so desperate to find a backup QB.
