Dead people can’t get out of anything.
She was pregnant! She was drugged/killed!
Driven off a bridge!
Body cremated to ensure no exhumation.
My opinion
Theater was about 30% filled.
This is metro-west in MA.
Overheard conversation at the end behind us: “... the republicans must of made this movie...”
Damn-—I assumed it would be more crowded on a Friday evening, especially in MA.
Metro-West——the heartland of liberalism.
.
It’s in my Netflix queue. Waiting for it to be released on DVD. Don’t go to the theater.
My wife would definitely like the movie I would think. She liked the Churchill movie we saw a few weeks ago.
Oh I never clicked on the link, but I think the poster was just getting an answer from those he trusts most to give their honest opinions, Freepers.
John Connor?

No idea.
But I do know that VW was not amused:

Here is a short video by Howie recounting the history:
And what are the odds in Hollywood? “The award for best picture goes to........”
Don’t know why you owe an apology, but nevertheless, all that is in the movie is just for you younger types, since all of this was generally known at the time.
Why would I recommend this movie to anyone? Movies no matter how close to the truth never seem to actually tell it; there is always something altered for story telling or cinematic purposes.
But perhaps in this case seeing the general lack of knowledge (US history/history in general) evident in younger types, half a loaf is better than nought.
No,not Metro-West.Newton,Brookline,Cambridge,Slumerville,Concord...
Except for Happy Valley (Amherst, etc) the farther you get from Boston the less admiration you see for Saul Alinsky.
Of course not.The Kennedys only mix with darker skinned people in the autumn of "even" years.
Yup...the Diane Rehm Show, the day after Teddy went on to his eternal "reward".
Have no desire to see a Kennedy skate again. Today, however, wife and I are going to see “The Death of Stalin.” Be glad to leave a review for it.
I had an aunt and uncle in the diplomatic corps who were stationed in Moscow at the time Stalin died so they had to attend his funeral. Fascinated I asked my aunt what it was like and all she said was it was horrendous.
Was she referring to the funeral or the post-Stalin social environment?
Very much like National Lampoon would do!
