Going back to President Trumps State of the Union address, do you recall him saying (paraphrasing) the chains are broken? I believe he was eluding to the blackmailing of congress. I think he has all the dirt that compromised many, many members.
Now, jump to Q post, where it is said...NO DEALS. I believe Trump is giving them the opportunity to exit. Notice how many R’s are leaving compared to D’s. D’s double down! Slate going to be wiped, cleanly or publicly. Up to the individual. IMHO
With R's it's important to leave time to find a new nominee.
With D's, better to dump them just before voting day.
