Muellerhe has 'the goods' on Trump’s 4 potential acts of obstruction

Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly on the verge of finalizing a report detailing four acts of potential obstruction by Trump.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly about to close his obstruction probe and is preparing to report on at least four “findings” on Trump’s attempts to obstruct justice.

According to NBC News, the four areas of potential obstruction include the firing of former FBI Director James Comey, Trump’s role in drafting a misleading statement about the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting, Trump’s role in pressuring Attorney General Jeff Sessions not to recuse himself from the Russia probe, and the dangling of pardons to grand jury witnesses.

Prior to this week, Mueller’s team was expected to finalize a report on its findings on whether Trump tried to obstruct justice in the Russia investigation in the “coming months.”

However, now that Trump is reportedly unlikely to sit down for an interview with Mueller, the timeline has sped up considerably.

Talks over a presidential interview with Mueller’s investigators reportedly broke down this week after the FBI raided the office and residences of Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen.

As a result, “Mueller’s team may be able to close the obstruction probe more quickly as they will not need to prepare for the interview or follow up on what the president says,” NBC reported.

Once Mueller prepares his report on the four potential acts of obstruction by Trump, he is expected to send a confidential report to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is charged with overseeing the Russia probe.

It will then be up to Rosenstein whether to make the report public and send its findings to Congress.

Agreed. VOTE GOP as if our lives depended on it, because I think they just might depend on it the way things are going in this country.

This investigation has pretty much slowed the Administration to a crawl. It’s all rather disgusting. Remember how fast Obama and the DNC shoved their agenda down America’s throat as fast as they could with equal scandals every week. It made our head spin by design.

Nice idea, but not gonna happen because the truth is not the objective.

Agree, with the exception that....in spite of this horrific, unprecedented slow down, POTUS Trump has been able to do more....with his hands tied....to end frivolous regulations, bring back jobs to USA, etc., than one could expect or than any other recent R Presidents.

But, yes....watching 0 slam through his socialist agenda, at breakneck speed....without ANY GOP pushback, was shocking.

Nothing. All of those he has total and unequivocal rights to do if he wants.

Doesn't there need to be a crime for there to be obstruction of justice? Or does double parking blocking a judge's car constitute obstruction of justice? I suppose it could be O of J if the target thought he was covering up a crime but who actually thinks, beyond professors and such, that Trump thought he had committed any crimes?

LOL! You’re kidding me! Trump asked Comey to investigate the dossier, the very foundation of the Russia investigation (according to McCabe), yet Trump is considered as one who is blocking an investigation? If I had done any of that stuff in the dossier, I’d either keep my mouth shut or try to dissuade from investigating it. The last thing I’d do is ask someone to look into it. I think Trump’s beef is legitimate, he did not want a special counsel, nor did he want Sessions recused, nor did he want a special counsel with no rails. Instead, because of Sessions and Rosenstein he got all three.

I thought the investigation was about collusion, not obstruction?

Mueller is writing the brief that Congress will use next year to impeach the President...if the Democrats take control.

“Potential obstruction”?

How the heck does that work?

Potential means, “maybe” or “could be” or “perhaps”.

So, Mueller would bring charges on obstructions that “perhaps” occurred? Or maybe occurred? It’s either a fact or not.

Were any of the obstructions “real”. or imagined, or made up, or insignificant? Would a court accept a case of a “potential” crime?

Damn it! I’m sick and tired of this cr*P.
If they try to impeach the President I’m marching on Washington. If all of us deplorables did this, it would make them stop and think!

Democrats will impeach EVERY oppositional President.
They hate democracy.

Not only must a majority Republican win election,
but Democrats must remain minority throughout his terms.

“Not only must a majority Republican win election,”

The repubikans are chomping at the bit to impeach President Trump. That’s why nearly ALL OF THEM have urged for this mueller coup to continue.

The reason why mueller needed to be fired months ago.

“Once Mueller prepares his report on the four potential acts of obstruction by Trump, he is expected to send a confidential report to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is charged with overseeing the Russia probe.”

Too bad that report won’t go to a conservative Rosenstein replacement who might say “Thanks for the report, Robert” (as he drops it in the waste paper basket)
