I honestly don’t know why everyone focuses on the impeachment vote in the house.

Of course there's no way that the Senate will vote "guilty".But being impeached alone will seriously weaken DJT. Possibly *very* seriously.

Because they can? Let’s say GOP keeps the house. The day after the election the gop GIVES the house to the RATS by enough party members SWITCHING to give them a 1 seat majority. DARE them to go ahead and impeach. They will have 8 weeks.

It didn't Bill Clinton. The GOP-controlled House voted to impeach him, then a month later the Democrats had a good midterm election, despite the fact that the incumbent President's party historically fares poorly in midterms.

Actually, it would do the opposite. He would become untouchable after a Senate acquittal. It would also fire up his supporters like nothing else. In the meantime, judges get appointed and the economy grows.

That is a strong hand going into 2020.
