Which is why I firmly believe that all tv shows should go no longer than 6 seasons, and if they are story based rather than stand alone episodes, they really need to lead to a satisfying conclusion. Yes. Within the Walking Dead universe is a “spiritus mundi” that longtime viewers share. They’ve seen it all. The zombie theme might seem endlessly interesting, but it’s not. The writers finally become boxed in, and all they have left is shuffling the deck chairs.
