Rush is very supportive of the things that Trump is doing. He is not supportive of Trump as a human being, and no doubt looks down on him as a “vulgarian.”
I think the basis for this is that Rush perceived himself as “America’s truth teller,” and when Trump popped up with that little thing called honesty it kind of make Rush irrelevant (except if you’re looking to transfer your home movies, or want $500 sheets).
Remember when they’d let an OCCASIONAL Trump supporter through during the primaries? Rush would cut them off to go to a commercial, or openly mock them, then move on to discussing the merits of “full throated conservatives” like Little Marco.
