Interesting comment on a ‘way out’ for Comey/Mueller at reddit:
IF Mueller and Comey were both to verify under oath that they’d been struggling for years to clean up the Bureau but couldn’t until now, I think enough of the prosecutions would stick for most Americans. Its a useful narrative and a good one to consider.
That would suck. Reduced charges might be ok, but a total walk? I would hate that.
