I have come to the place where I know it is important to stay abreast of information as much as I can, but in an action-oriented person, that is difficult to handle. The info motivates to action. (Witness our beloved Sky Pilot and others on the thread with him quite appropriately crying out for Justice.)
I’m not saying others should do as I do, but for myself, I have learned that since I am genuinely and truly unable to affect that which I see on the news and headlines in most cases, I am left with either nightmares, stress-caused diseases, or giving it up to the only One who can actually DO something to affect the playing out of events: Our Lord.
Woke up bolt wide awake this morning a little late with one of those moments of OMG! I’ve messed up!! I thought I had missed my prayer leading day on the prayer thread of the link you posted, hoosiermama! LOL! I was so relieved to see that I had lost track the other way! Will be posting it probably tonight.
