I’ll be glad to lower a flag to half-mast when Hillary goes, and the sooner the better. I’m putting in my order for a Skull and Crossbones pirate flag. I think that would be a fitting one for her.
Obama will get the Hammer and Sickle flag.
Michele will get a banshee flag.
Al Gore will geta Willie the Whale flag.
Bill Clinton will get a telephone pole flag.
Nancy Pelosi will get a moldy pepperoni flag.
And I will give them all the middle finger salute.
* (I realize Hoover dam is an environmental crime and many believe it should be blown up anyway to drain Lake Mead, free the Colorado River, and return the west to a pastoral, agrarian state without electricity.)*

That’s what I’m thinking. Each flag owner can decide when and how to fly it.
It was actually New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who ordered flags lowered in his state in honor of Whitney Houston, the Jersey native’s death in 2012. Christie issued the same honor for Yogi Berra, James Gandolfini, and E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons.

Agree—half-staff in any other situation devalues the definition of hero.

Hah! You’re assuming an awful lot. First, that she’ll get thrown in jail...second, that she’ll die.
