My reference to “raining violets” was misheard as “reigning violence” but do not remember which book, movie etc it was from. One group of people heard one the other the other. Wish The source would come to me.

Now that is a really good question and analogy with the the “Casa Blanca” reference. I do not know French but probably someone here can do that for us.
