The IRS sends letters to people who owe under $10,000.
They figure you pay as hiring a lawyer/accountant would cost the same and you may still owe the money. Hear those commercials about if you owe $10,000 or more...?
They should stop the extortion racket.
Pounding the IRS into the sand before eviscerating it by getting rid of all “progressives” taxation would do nicely.
