Mrs. AZLiberty just noticed something in a Grantchester book she's reading:

Q source

[From Wikipedia] The Gospels of Matthew and Luke were written independently, each using Mark and a second hypothetical document called "Q" as a source. Q was conceived as the most likely explanation behind the common material (mostly sayings) found in the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke but not in Mark.

The Q source (also Q document, Q Gospel, or Q from German: Quelle, meaning "source") is a hypothetical written collection of primarily Jesus' sayings (logia). Q is part of the common material found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke but not in the Gospel of Mark. According to this hypothesis, this material was drawn from the early Church's Oral Tradition.

Coincidence?

This was something that was covered by anons in early “Q” era, possibly before following here & don’t remember if it made the lexicon - I thought it was a good tie because there was some complimentary line that Trump has interest in some of the other / lost books from the (biblical) time.

Hmmm!? I may be on the wrong page here but IIRC I thought Q in this historical Biblical authorship sense was the supposed group of old testament priests that wrote all of the old testament books up until the Babylonian exile. This fictitious rendering of these OT docs. was thought to be the way the priests were able to keep Judaism alive while the people were in exile. It seems they are also reportedly the way synagogues were developed?

I am going to have to go back and check this out. I didn’t connect Q to anything biblical because the fiction being used by “biblical minimalists” to try to destroy the Bible and its Truth isn’t anything I want anything to do with.
