Yeah, the discussions have gotten a little out of hand here and there. Disagreement is good - it spurs additional discussion and maybe hones the point. Insults and bashing tend to chase away others, including those that contribute very positively to the thread. I’m not saying that some obvious trolls don’t need to be chased away, though ignoring them tends to inspire them to move on too.
And yes, pinging JimRob when whining about being insulted won’t serve to resolve the issue. What it will eventually do is get the Q discussion shut down.
That’s probably their actual goal anyway. People who incessantly bother Jim usually want threads pulled, and are the kind of folks you avoid at family reunions or office gatherings. You know the type.
