Here is Yamamoto's statement. He refers to trying to "blow up" the vest and also pulling the cord to inflate it. He tried to blow up Fuddy's vest and then she pulled the cord to inflate it. Sounds like he blew up one cell and she used the CO2 cartridge to inflate the second cell. that would explain only one cartridge being used.

Seems to me that the reports from the passengers left out the dummy leaving the aircraft and being substituted for Fuddy, who was whisked away by a diver with a submersible which came from a submarine lurking in the shallows...and they floated her away on a flotation device...then the autopsy was conducted on the blow-up dummy, which was replaced by a wax model of Fuddy that was so life-like the mourners at the funeral never realized it wasn’t Fuddy in the coffin.
It just gets so ridiculous, I have to wonder why we bother, didn’t Confucius say ‘arguing with a fool is just two fools having an argument...?’

Mind you, the image manipulation can be seen as fairly convincing if you are very naïve, haven’t a good memory and forgot to wear your reading glasses.

It also helps if you can’t conceive of the possibility that the worst case scenario is the aircraft was sabotaged, and they were ALL meant to share the same fate. Perhaps the pilot needs to be commended for landing as he did, upright in the water, giving them all enough time to exit in the 20 minutes or so that it took the aircraft to go under.
