As an Eagle Scout, I was at the BSA Jamboree at Valley Forge PA, in 1964, and sure don’t remember any filth like this going on. Makes me sick. I’ve given-up on the BSA a couple of years ago; so sad the perverts, degenerates and lowlifes are in charge of everything, it seems.
And maybe we’ll do in a squirrel or two.
The Scouts includes girls now.
Scouts is usually for 9-11 years olds.
That’s the Cub Scouts. Boy Scouts are 11 to 18.
Finally bad enought that even the Mormons left. Since 60%+ of all Scout Troops were LDS, it is effectively the end of “Scouting BSA”
An organization dead for so long even the flies had left....

I lost interest in the mid-70’s when they started handing out merit badges like candy. They didn’t mean much anymore.

The change to allow girls into the BSA provoked a blistering response from the national Girl Scouts of America organization last year when they issued the following statement: "The Boy Scouts’ house is on fire. Instead of addressing systemic issues of continuing sexual assault, financial mismanagement and deficient programming, BSA’s senior management wants to add an accelerant to the house fire by recruiting girls," the council said.
So now we have an "inclusive" staff allowed alcohol, and condoms for everybody. In the Boy Scouts. What a tragedy.
When I was a Boy Scout in the 1960’s, fortunately, I didn’t know what a condom was.
Brings a new meaning to the word “Jamboree”!

WOSM Guidelines for the hosting of the World Scout Jamboree
(Adopted by the World Scout Committee in March 2016):
“The Host Organisation must ensure that condoms are readily and easily accessible for all participants and IST at a number of locations on the site.
Heads of Contingent must be informed in advance and made aware of their responsibility in communicating this policy to their Participants, Unit Leaders, Contingent Staff, and IST in an appropriate way. When making this information available onsite, consideration shall be given to the various cultures and beliefs present!”
MY TAKE:
1. What makes a Jamboree any different from any other Scout camp? I suppose it won’t be long before they include condoms in standard kit issued for any activity?
2. This policy includes ALL participants and makes no reference to any age of consent, I wonder if that is legal?
It’s the international jamboree, and the BSA was one of the last national organizations to admit girls, so yes, plenty of “girl scouts” there:
