But it does appear that it was dictated directly by the President himself. Something really pissed him off and lit his fuse in the last 24 hours! I think it must have been Deputy Foreign Minister Choi threatening to nuke the US the other day, all the while the US was preparing with teams in good faith to show in Singapore and give it a shot.
This is the nasty, spoiled, rude way of infantile North Korea. They have gotten away with it so many times, so they thought they could bluster and talk smack again with this new crew in D.C., but they learned how far that will get them. Now look at them trotting out Kim Gye Gwan and pleading for US to reconsider.

Anyway, you can’t separate China and NK. They’re tied at the hip.

Looking at their elections schedule it’ll be four years before Kim could be pressured by a less agreeable S Korean government.

Trump is playing the North Korean Fat Boy.
Trump's unilateral cancellation of the summit was done on purpose and is part of how Trump negotiates the other side into submission.
He'll have The Chubby One eating out of his hand before this is over with.
Kim tried the carrot and the stick, then a bait and switch. Always worked before. This guy Trump isn’t so easy to manipulate. Kim needs to study some Confucius or Sun Tzu.
