Was that Crowe one any good? All I know about it was that they totally changed the initial idea which, was actually original with the Sheriff of N as the main character.

I’d be down with a version that was historical plausible. There was some old one that actually portrayed the antagonists as French speakers. A native Englishmen recovering tax money from Pepe LePew would have modern significance.

Well, I can tell you one thing: The Crowe version actually had a pretty neat defense of the Magna Carta, and the storyline’s the closest we’re ever going to get to the original Robin Hood, ie, the one that existed before Joseph Ritson ruined him by turning him into a proto-OWS type in order to show solidarity to the Jacobins in the French Revolution.
