Exclusive: Carter Page: The FBI ruined my life

... cost him business, income and even his girlfriend.

Page tells The Post that during the media barrage he faced in late 2016, he visited his girlfriend at her London flat, where she was “freaking out with the fake news about me.”

“Talking with her later in the evening after dinner, she told me that she didn’t want me staying there anymore, and that our relationship was over.

“So late that night,” Page continued, “I booked a last-minute hotel reservation as part of this early chapter of the redefinition of my life.”

Page believes the FBI’s mole, professor Stefan Halper, was secretly spying on him as part of a “politically motivated” investigation of Team Trump, using fake sympathy to gain his trust — all while fishing for dirt on Page’s ties to Russia, where he’d worked as an energy consultant.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to be a trap,” Page said.

Halper contacted Page in early July 2016, weeks before the FBI claims it first opened an investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.

The timing is significant because if Halper was being used as an informant before a case had been officially opened, it raises the possibility the Trump campaign was spied on for political — not law enforcement — reasons.

Page believes that’s exactly what happened, and agrees with the president’s characterization of the scandal as “Spygate.”...

I thought Page had been some type of FIB?CIA “asset” for years before the “GET TRUMP!” Putsch attempt started.

He seemed to have plenty of experience with the US IC.

1932: Little Bohemia Lodge, Wisconsin.

The Feds heard the John Dillinger Gang was holed up at a Wisconsin Fishing Lodge.

They wanted to be big heroes, didn’t inform local law enforcement, who knew the Lodge well.

They busted in with their .45 cal, fully-automatic Tommy Guns, shooting up the place, killing two civilians with their Al Capone-style machine guns.

Hey, at least they arrested the gang, right..? Nope..!

Some got away, clean.

Whoops..! They ALL got away —there was a back exit the Feds didn’t know about.

Room service, anyone..?!

The Tommy Gun was made by Thompson, invented in 1918.

This weapon was favored both by Law Enforcement and by gangsters, but why fuss, especially THESE days..?

Fed by 20 or 30-round stick mags, a 50-round drum was also available for the Thompson.

Just hold down the trigger and hose the muzzle around..! In a hotel..?! SURE...!

Hey, there COULD be a bad guy on the other side of that bathroom wall, riiiiight..?

How about some air-conditioning for that balconey, eh? You gotta BADGE...!

The shootout at the Bohemia Lodge was a very early-era Ruby Ridge or Mandalay Bay Massacre, you might say, though the Feds were able to almost totally hush it up.

“Feds are shining HEROES” = TOTAL B.S.

The photos you just saw are of the era when the FBI was much more law-abiding than they are NOW.

I want to believe Carter Page but watching him on TV raises doubt on what his role in this was.

The secret evidence in the FISA application that they refuse to show Congress is a sworn affidavit by Loretta Lynch and James Comey that Carter Page picked his feet in Poughkeepsie.

There is also a supporting legal opinion by Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates finding that picking your feet in Poughkeepsie is grounds for setting aside all legal prohibitions against spying on the opposition party candidate for president.

I go back and forth about Page. Was he a double spy set up by the Obama set confidential human source, or is he a fall guy? I'm not sure because he seems to be the only one who didn't get nailed to the wall like Flynn, Manafort and Papadopoulos.

Near as I can tell, Carter page was an exceptionally low level nobody. He had, in the past assisted the FBI or perhaps the CIA in entrapping a Russian Oligarch. From there he possibly thought he was gaining access to levels above his pay grade. Speaking of his pay grade he was lured to London by Professor Halper in order to give a speech to some group about energy. The pay for that trip was $3,000. If Page was any kind of anybody he would not be making a special trip to London for $3,000. That’s an astonishingly low amount of money for somebody of any importance, and I think that the scale of that payment is rather indicative of how unimportant he ultimately was. His real importance was that he offered a Communications hop to members of the Trump campaign. That is why he was cultivated. Not for him nor his value, but because it would allow the CIA to surveil him and whomever he talked to, and it was known that he occasionally spoke to members of the Trump campaign. Because of that particular relationship, he could be surveilled and along for the ride would come surveillance of whomever he talked to within the Trump campaign.

The choice to be a snitch in the service of Obama’s organized crime syndicate was actually what ruined his life.

Lay with dogs, don’t whine to us fleas.

They all yell “there is no spy”, but this is a classic case of entrapment. Can he sue the FBI?

Fed by 20 or 30-round stick mags, a 50-round drum was also available for the Thompson.

Don't forget the 100 round drum. I've been warned that the 100 round models are too tightly packed, and they tend to bind and not feed properly. So you are probably better off with a couple of 50s than a single 100.

But potentially useful in states that ban high capacity magazines.
