Stupid people.
We run bison on the ranch and WE don’t get too close to them. You heard them from horseback or from a 4x4 and NEVER from an ATV where you’re down low and exposed.
They’re dangerous animals and many a stray dog has wandered onto the ranch and made the fatal mistake of thinking that bison are just as much fun to chase as cattle. The bison run down the dogs and then stomp on them by putting all four feet together and then jumping up and down.
So if this stupid Californicator only got gored then she should consider herself lucky.
I have seen idiots try to walk right up on Bison, Bull Elks an Moose.
The words “HUGE Hucking Animal” Never cross their feeble minds.
I saw a Bull Moose in rutting season humping a VW Beatle!
At least they aint playing with Grizz or Polar Bears

Ugh... “heard” = herd.
Stupid autocomplete.
Oh, my.....
That must a a sight to (not) see.
Here in Texas we don’t see many Bison. I was helping a friend fix some loose fence wire. Looking back under my arm I saw a cayote looking for my lunch bag. Next thing I heard was a thundering hairy monster coming toward me faster than I could run away. Must have weighed 5000 pounds. That big beast went up in the air and came down on that cayote with all four feet. I wanted to pet him for that, but discretion became the better part of Valor. Yeah. my so called friend neglected to tell me he had imported those Bison.
Bringing back a large, powerful aggressively defensive Ice Age mammal from near extinction and putting them in close proximity to clueless humans. What could go wrong?
