If so, unable to find the older film.
The one on Tubi is
a 1998 Canadian drama w/Jackson
At one time when the large satellite backyard dishes were the rage, we would often watch Canadian broadcasts of indigenous movies. These were exceptional, and most so unlike that which HW was offering at the time.
Yep, I couldnt find an earlier version either. It must have been the first time I ever saw S.L. Jackson and I had nothing to connect him to. And when I saw him in later films, I didnt recognize him as having been in The Red Violin. In which case, the Roku version is the one and only and I highly recommend it. Just for the music alone. It inspired me to pick up my classic guitar again. I think there was a mesmerizing Gypsy scene that was very inspirational,....... music-wise.
