Sorry, the problem with the movies is venturing off the original George Lucas theme and movie—inserting perverted characters, having bad characters, having a weak, flat story, etc. Today’s folks do not understand what made Star Wars such a success. They are not George Lucas.

His original movie was luck, and this is demonstrable by the fact he hasn't made anything good since.
I don't think Lucas knew either. Watch a video called "How Star Wars was saved in the edit" on youtube to see what a mess he made and how the editors (his wife among them) cut the boring crap, made up new stuff, changed the order of everything, etc. And made it good.
The Socialist Just-Us Warrior class thinks that there ALWAYS was a Star Wars and since the world was rotten ever since the day they were born into it, Star Wars is PART of what was horrible with the world and “must change”.
I’m not defending Star Wars or finding it to be some sacred thing, it is not. They are Obamajugend who seek to “reinvent” things rather than create NEW things.
