I very much hope that your friend and neighbor sustained no permanent damage from the bite.
It is possible that apologists are becoming aware that the term “misunderstood” is inaccurate in the extreme, and that the general public is becoming aware of the awful human and animal price of indiscriminate pit bull advocacy.
My friend had to have stitches but as far as I know she didn’t sustain any permanent damage. I felt she was lucky.
As I mentioned on a prior related thread she was a volunteer at a dog shelter. I asked her what was the most common breed at the shelter she said it was about 70 per cent pit bull. We have a pattern here that’s too obvious for some.
