Yep, they can me snowflake because I wont point a loaded gun wity a hair trigger at my family, friends, neighbors, or strangers on the streets. unlike pitbull enthusists who refuse to see the truth. Even if one in a thousand handgrenades will go off unexpecrely, would you put an unmarked one in your pocket every day . and every day chose a different one from a pile of them? because these dogs are not the same dog every day.

I’ve worked with large dogs, and many other species of predators for over 35 years. I’m going to just say this then leave you to your delusional state.

ANYTHING with a mouth can bite. I’ve worked with German Shepherds, Pits, Rotties, Dobermans, Mastiffs, and more. By far the most vicious breed of dog I have ever worked with, and the one that was most prone to aggressive behavior wasn’t any of the dogs listed above. The worst was the poodle family. I received the worst series of bites of my life from a miniature poodle. The dog had to be put down. Why? Same reason as every other situation with a dog. Abuse, neglect and a failure of the owner to properly train and maintain the dog. PERIOD. I speak not as an advocate of any dog species but as a person with decades of experience working with and training dogs.

Every single case of so called unprovoked dog attack I have seen have a number of tell tales leading up to the attack. Every single instance of attack is provoked. They just don’t go off and attack for no reason. The number one reason is that people own dogs of any breed and do not know the first thing about canine social structure. Those people are on one end of the scale of complete lack of understanding the situation and animals and you are on the exact opposite end of not understanding the situation or animal.

It’s the same with other animals as well. ANY animal can lash out. They are living, thinking beings. In every instance, there is a reason for it. They don’t do it “because they’re a ticking time bomb”. It doesn’t work that way.

You have people picking these animals because they have a reputation that is promoted by people like you who have no clue what you are talking about. People like you make the problem worse because you put this false narrative out there and the people that have no idea how to work with any predator species and shouldn’t own any dog get excited and get one. Then they assume that there is nothing else to do. They fail to understand the social structure of canine society. They do not understand the pack mentality and needs of these dogs. They then do everything wrong which in turn stresses the animal out, and ignites a response.

There is no exception to this except if the animal is sick. Rabies, cancer, etc. can cause mental changes in the animal or pain and create a similar response.

The key is knowing your animals, know how to work with them, know their traits, likes, dislikes, mannerisms, etc. Know HOW to work with them. With ANY breed of dog, you must take on the mantle of alpha. If you don’t, you end up with a dog that will be confused and stressed out. You will get a response.

All this hair trigger BS is nonsense. It’s fear mongering and it’s fantasy. It’s no different than the morons that have never worked with snakes making idiotic comments about keepers when these people have no idea what they are talking about. You come off looking no different than the anti gun crowd with their “Thirty magazine clip full semi auto assault weapon of mass destruction.”

Until you have worked with these animals and have a real understanding of how these animals think and their social structure, do not act like you are an expert. You are not. Not even close to being one. You are pushing an idea that is utterly false.
