If it is not your own private pool in your own back yard... a sweaty, young girl should be the least of your concerns.
So words exchanged between two private citizens in a spat is somehow “news”?
Oh yeah, when the “victim” is black.
GET IT TO THE GUARDIAN AND ASIAN PAPERS
OH THE HORROR
A reasonable question. I wont use public pools though.
Simple solution, dont use the pool dude. Anyone using a pool with people they dont know should have no expectation that everyone else in the pool showered first, or didnt pee in it or doesnt have some communical disease. On the few rare occasions Ive used a hotel pool or hot tub, I make sure I shower, with soap, AFTER I get out. Have never and will never use a public pool.
I see guys leaving restrooms without washing their hands and I want to call them filthy animals, but I don’t want to get shot.
Outrage? Big deal.
In Washington, DC, it is a law to shower before entering a swimming pool. Really.
I was asked that about a young nephew once. We’re so honky privilege just leaks out of us onto everything!
Of course the answer— we were both still dry— was “No, we’re going to use that one (a shower head in a corner of the pool area).”
Well the creepy jerk made it about race when he asked only one person if theyd bathed
And he tried to claim he was a health inspector
Ahhhh yes the perfection of liberals.....
Maybe he’s OCD and a germphobe. Don’t germphobes have rights? Where is the ACLU?
So she met a rude white guy big deal, If I had a dollar for every time a black person was rude to me I’d be rich.
Unless the woman was obviously filthy(stepped in dog poo, menstrating, Crap stains) taking a shower is of dubious value when swimming in a public pool.
Why?
One; There should be enough chlorine in the water to kill any bodily fluids.
Two: Urine is the same chemically as sweat. That’s why it’s funny to hear the old urban legend about supervisors putting chemicals in the water that turn orange, purple, whatever, to detect swimmers peeing in the water.
And if they have crapped in the water, it will be evident(Yes it does happen)
And if you have no problem swimming in the ocean, lakes or even creeks, then you should have no problem swimming in public pools.
You do know what fish do in the water, right?(Thanks to W.C. Fields)
Maybe she smelled horrible (as many teenagers with poor hygiene do) and he was actually being polite by not saying: “don’t let that stinking pig in the pool!”
