Unfortunately the closest Menards seems to be in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Maybe they ship?

The cages you have are a lot better looking than anything the local Lowes and Home Depot have.
I may buy some wire and experiment making my own.
I have plenty of time on my hands.

3-5 miles is NOT far enough to relocate them.

>>When we hit the 5-7 mile range, using a zig-zag pattern, returns were rare, maybe 1 out of 15-20. We did have squirrels return from as many as 10-12 miles, but less than a half-dozen times. Even stranger, we had one amazing return from almost 25 miles, although HE was taken on a straight-line run out a county road adjacent to our office. We never tried our relocation plan in the winter, I doubt if any of them would return.<<

Try resetting to a pre-update Restore Point; then go into >Control Panel< >Windows Updates< and set it for either OFF or Ask First. In any case, do NOT allow automatic updates.

Since I did that, I’ve not been nagged, nor had my system messed up by Macroshaft.

Summer nite time lows are about 50 degrees.
No grow lights
20 gallon pots from Costco
I have to anchor the tent well against the wind
The tent last about 4 or 5 years but the zippers fail
Don’t let the liberals take over your state

Oh, I forgot to mention that they tend to be VERY broody. They will barely get off the brooder box/nest for weeks while they try to hatch eggs. They will get pretty pissed and peck at you when you collect those eggs - usually in spring. Mine lived a good long time, but got taken out by a soil-borne nasty.

The heat is on for sure here in Central Missouri. It has been absolutely miserable outside for the past few days.

But thanks to the miracle of irrigation my garden is rocking. It’s looking like I’ll have tomatoes for BLTs by the 4th of July. The okra that I seeded last weekend is up. Transplanted basils are very happy. Cukes are vining like crazy and starting to blossom. Garlic is ready to come out. Cabbages and peppers both doing very well.

Pumpkins, squash and sweetcorn are all peeking out of the ground in the market garden. I’ve got a few skips to replant, but that won’t take long.

“Don’t let the liberals take over your state”

We’re trying but the FedGov employees in the northern part of the state have us by the throat.

Two of my four pots are like yours, only 10 gallon.
The tomatoes seem to be doing fine in them.
I just need to get the watering schedule right.

You are asking ME???? I am a totally illiterate techno phobe who does not have a smart phone - a little flip phone for emergency calls is it.

I have no idea of the difference between an I phone, tablet, notebook, I Pad etc. And what the heck is FIOS????

I really hope that someone else on the thread can help you, cause I am totally ignorant of tech issues. My grand daughter can run circles around me on the computer.

Recently, sprint purchased my cell phone provider, and sent a letter that our area would no longer have service, and we would need a different provider. So we switched to ATT. Then I got a call from our provider that asked us to return - either sprint changed their mind, or they were all wet to begin with. I just told them too bad - actions have consequences.

Good luck to you on your tech issues. I wish I could help, but I know nothing, nothing, nothing.

Thank you.
We have a couple dozen “big” tomatoes that will turn ripe in the next week, before the paste tomatoes.
This pix show the 3rd or 4th harvest of cucumbers. Our fridge is running out of room !

Thank you, Greeneyes. I was hoping that someone on the thread, not necessarily you, could advise me on my FIOSS issue, since there are people from all over the country that post to the thread. Anyhoo, I’ll be losing my landline phone and DSL internet service come November 1st because Verizon wants to force my area into FIOSS.

Thank you, I’ll Google Suddenlink and see what that’s all about.
