I've been posting that idea here on FR for several days now. I'd like to believe Jeff came up with it on his (or his staff's own), but it really is obvious. If there's trafficking, a DNA sampling will not only let us assess how big it is, but also let us send the traffickers directly to jail. Trafficking is still a crime, isn't it?
In addition, my understanding is that Trump’s EO keeps the families intact for 20 days. At that point, the family is deported. If they choose to stay, then the families are separated.
This is genius. If the families are separated, Trump can say the family VOLUNTEERED to be separated!
