Snarky OneLiners.
Ive scientifically determined that A Three Second Comically inspired Retort is Simply FABULOUS!
+++++++++++++
LOL. Well you have certainly come to the right place and you will find 90% agreement with your position.
But a recommendation: Always try to combine Snarky with Insight. Sometimes that works.
P.S. (Dont tell anybody but I have to admit to being Snarky at times. And occasionally posting an insightful one-liner.)😎
Sounds like I need a million dollar grant to study
Have the Mensa bright lights considered fixing the leak?
The then-wife was looking at some faucets. They were really nice, Italian, and probably averaged about $400 more than a functionally equivalent A-S/Moen/Delta piece.
“Bubbles, tiny bubbles...”
I’m surprised that nobody came across this before, during the development history of propeller blades in general, and for sub propellers in particular.
all the other research topics taken?
Your sister-in-law is a plumber?
I’ll have to post pictures of the kitchen sink here.
It’s a fancier type with the sprayer hose coming out of the top. The hose fitting leaks and a plumber came out to look at it. He and my wife looked all around and under to ID the brand and model to get parts. No luck.
I’ve been meaning to ask her anyway since someone here might have one like ours. We’ve tried to reach the previous owners since they had the place built. No luck yet.
Whew, well that's a relief. Been waiting years to knock that one off the top of my list.
Close, Son In Law.
Thanks for the physics lesson. A drop of water can keep me awake 100 feet away.
That reminded me of the mohel’s rant on Seinfeld.
“Deep, deep in the shag!”
American Standard is great. I forgot about them. Kohler, Delta, Zurn..
“”sound produced by a water droplet hitting a liquid surface “”
I don’t think it means dripping into the sink - haven’t the foggiest idea what it means but hitting a solid surface is not what it’s about...
“”Did ANYONE read the article?””
Sure doesn’t appear to be so. This is what I was met with when getting on FR earlier today and I see it hasn’t improved much since..
“”If you need to stop the sound of a drip from driving you crazy but you cant get it fixed right away, letting it drop into a Chore Boy scouring pad will silence it.””
We have a dripping kitchen faucet and I went out to put dinner in the oven and it drove me nuts so I used your idea. I laid a Brillo Pad in the bottom of the sink. So far, it’s working - thanks.
My husband can’t do any of that repair/maintenance work any longer so we’re waiting for a friend to take care of it. Of course, he can’t hear it dripping either - but I’d hear it if it was in the neighbor’s house...
Glad to see this critical issue has been resolved...Now, when do we get an answer to the old problem of: "No matter how many times you shake it, the last three drips go down your leg."
Tap, tap...tap, tap, tap.0
Thank you, most excellent student!
I knew there were some of you here! ;-)
