The insurance company should now sue the city for restitution, charging the city with negligence in the care of such a valuable item. They should have had it cordoned off in such a way the little boy could not get near it.That is my guess for why the insurance company didn't fight this very hard. It knows that it will get most of the payout back in a countersuit.

I would like to know how mucht the city insured this artwork. The idea that a 107;000 piece of art was left like like that is unbelievable. Its a money grab by the artist who I suspect has never sold a piece for anything near this price
