France won the World Cup in 1998. They have always been a strong contender. This years winners are coached by an outstanding member of the 1998 team.

France is much better at soccer because of muslim immigration. Unlike 1998, when they were led by the Algerian, Zidane, this team mostly had sub-saharan blacks. In 1998 in the banlieues, they were flying more Algerian flags than French flags.
