Come to think of it, the last few incidents (that we’ve been allowed to READ??) where people have been forcibly removed from airlines all involved male passengers.

Jordan Peterson has made the observation that interaction between males (if things get tense) always carries the implicit threat of violence. Which helps to keep things calm in many (but not all) cases. Because both males realize that "the other guy could start swinging". And so there is an effort to avoid that outcome.

But it's different with women. The rule is that you cannot attack women. And women know this. And so some women will push, and push, and push without letup. They feel unstoppable and invincible. Because they KNOW you won't start swinging. And that's how they get totally out of control.

In a History Channel show on the Roaring Twenties or Prohibition, it was pointed out that it was a more polite time, since if you/you were accidentally transgressed, you never knew if and what the other guy was packing...

...so it was much more pleasant to apologize/accept apology than to cause a possible regrettable situation.
