The U.S. military is gearing up to fight “fake news,” but this “fake news” has nothing to do with the politically charged rhetoric, mostly aimed against President Trump, that floods establishment media.

It’s a variation on the old “honey pot” strategy that has existed for years in which Americans are set up by foreign agents to be photographed or recorded in compromising situations.

In this case, however, the compromising situation never existed: It’s created by digital manipulation.
Kyle Rempfer at the Military Times warns: “The emerging technology could be used to generate Kompromat – short for compromising material in Russian – that portrays an individual in deeply embarrassing situations, making them ripe for blackmail by a foreign intelligence service. Or, just as likely, deep fake technology could be used to generate falsified recordings from meetings that actually did take place, but where the content discussed is manipulated.”

I think the Lefty's theme of Resist is misnamed. There is no resisting going on, they are Restricting or shutting down opposing views. Maybe we can refer to them as the "ResistFreeSpeech" movement!

And when they can't restrict free speech/thought that is different than there own, they screech inarticulately and then throw around words like Nazi, treason, racist, etc. Words they don't really seem to understand the meaning of. Tantrums are what babies struggle with. So we're watching a lot of mental babies trying to get what THEY want. Sad.

The more outrageous and over the top they get, they more they are 'seen'. My hope and prayer is that no one is harmed, before the tide turns, as it must. JMHO

I love these montage videos of the fake news media sources all spewing the EXACT SAME THING. It’s like they all get their talking points at 4 am or something. LOL! I am certainly enjoying the show and watching who is screaming the loudest. (hee hee hee)
