Yeah, he ruins golf for me. So sick of the obsession with him
I remember attending tournaments in 97 et seq. He really attracted a lower quality of “fan” They acted mostly unprofessionally, with the screaming etc not considered standard of the gentlemanly/womanly fan.
I was glad when he was out of golf and will glad when it’s permanent.
That’s true...I don’t remember all the screaming immediately after a shot before Tiger...
I used to go to practice rounds at Augusta and it was very, very polite...
So somehow its HIS fault because of the fans he attracted in 1997? The guy, warts aside, is arguably the best of all time. Between about 1998 and 2008, he utterly dominated the sport. If the networks are obsessed with him, its well deserved. He brings ratings.
