FULL TITLE: West Hollywood city council votes unanimously to REMOVE Donald Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame because of the President's 'disturbing treatment of women'
West Hollywood city council has unanimously approved a motion calling for the removal of Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Put forth by West Hollywood Mayor pro tempore John D'Amico and Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath, the motion, passed on Monday night, seeks the removal of the landmark 'due to [Trump's] disturbing treatment of women and other actions.'
However, the vote is not legally binding as the council has no control over the Walk of Fame. The council will instead send a formal letter to the overseeing bodies, Los Angeles city council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, asking them to consider it.

These people are complete hypocrites. As if everyone who has a star is a perfect upstanding citizen.

Hollywood is removing Trumps star from the Walk of Fame.
Good.
His name shouldnt be associated with pedophiles like Kevin Spacey & rapists like Bill Cosby in a perverted place that gives prostitutes like Stormy Daniels the keys to the city.
Mount Rushmore will look better.
I have a feeling the Walk of Fame will become the Walk of Infamy in less than a month.
45 must be pleased with the removal.
Coming from West Hollywood, that’s an astounding demonstration in hypocrisy.
The shocker here is an admission that Hollywood has "values." Who knew?
So the celebs who endorsed Bill Clintons' treatment of women also get voted off? Right?
According to FEC Info, an Internet Web site (www.tray.com) that tracks federal political contributions, 176 individual donors actually contributed $10,000 or more to the lewinsky-era Clinton Legal Expense Trust fund through Dec 1999. Another 21 donors gave $10,000 in the first six months of 2000.
Thanks to Hollywood's generosity, a total of more than $2.2 million was raised in six months, which was notably more than was collected in funding during the previous four years of his presidencycombined. Hollywood producers and stars made up the bulk of the most generous givers. They included:
<><> Harvey Weinstein
<><> Universal Studios tycoon Lew Wasserman and his wife, Edith, who have given $60,000;
<><>DreamWorks trio Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, $20,000 each;
<><> producer Ron Burkle and his wife, Janet, $40,000;
<><> producers Peg and Bud Yorkin, $30,000;
<><> TV producer Norman Lear, $20,000.
Entertainment celebrities and executives giving $10,000 included:
<><> singers Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand;
<><> actors Michael Douglas and Tom Hanks;
<><> director Ron Howard; producer Gail Zappa;
<><>Black Entertainment Television founder Robert L. Johnson.
How bout Michael Jackson? Robert Blake? OJ Simpson?
I'm sure he'll quit now with that powerful social comment.
Who cares?
NOW President Trump’s STAR must have a 24-hour elite military GUARD. Like at least a Squad, full-time.
This is illegal.
So what - if FR doesn’t give a crap about Gollywood - why should it care about this?
How about denying HRC her Coronation a couple years ago?
Libs are going to go to their graves butthurt about that one.....
Yeah, Cosby and Jackson’s stars being removed??? I’m really glad they did this..........President Trump has no time for such nonsense and I’m sure wouldn’t give those hypocrites the time of day.
Looks like the walk of fame needs a few cans of glossy black?
Just paint West Hollywood City Hall pitch black and then in day-glow orange over the black scrawl “Tump Derangement Syndrome!” The address is 8300 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069
” ‘due to [Trump’s] disturbing treatment of women and other actions.’ “
So Harvey Weissman’s star gets removed, too? What about Al Franken?
Roman Polanski ever get a Hollywood star?
He doesn’t have a star.
What about Charlie Chaplin? He liked ‘em young, although he did usually marry his baby dolls.
Wooooaaah. I almost forgot, having been so accustomed to looking up to and admiring Cos. If Charlie Chaplin’s going, so is Bill.
