She was taken to a conference room that is sometimes used as a SCIF, to get her temination notice.

Maybe she was taken to the SITU SCIF room because, as Q insinuates, they had advanced knowledge she was recording and they set her up (or pre-arranged) for her to commit the crime of recording there.

Now they can accuse her if illegality?

I like tht theory.

Given what passes for standards of accuracy and honesty these days, I see no reason -- other than the 8th commandment against false witness -- that accusation can't be made even if applying the actual facts to the law concludes otherwise.

And then there is the simple decency angle. How would anybody feel, knowing a certain co-worker was recording all workplace conversations? I bet Wolf Blitzer has uttered some real doozies. And how many of the female talking heads are liberated sluts?

I was reminded he’s not an idiot when someone quoted from his book the other day: “I used to believe in hiring the best and trusting them. Now I believe in hiring the best and NOT trusting them. I’ve seen too many shenanigans...”
