Haiti was quite a jet-set destination back in 1975, especially catering to the "fun"-seeking homosexual crowd from NYC.

It became the entry point for AIDS into the U.S., which appeared first in the NYC gay community, and was subsequently tracked back through Haiti to Africa's Congo River region.

Storm Flag, I agree. That was one of the puzzle pieces that just wasn't fitting together for me when I dozed off about 4am. IIRC Haiti was a desired destination for only a small sliver of population in '75. I lived in Austin then and they have a good portion of that unGodly sliver of humanity. A honeymoon couple going to a homosexual destination is weird. 'Cept for the voodoo.
