3 to 5 SLICES of ham per day?

Isn’t there that much waste in cut-off end pieces and scrap you can’t sell?
End pieces like that along with blackberry jello and distilled water equal ham salad sold in the deli.
I worked deli for a few years, we threw away amounts of good food that would shock you. I had chopped bbq and ribs every night I closed be susie it was going in the dumpster if no one ate it. we didn’t repackage it just went in the trash, manager told me to take it in back and help myself if I wanted it.
