Are there really any soccer fans in Tennessee?
I generally find it more entertaining to poke a long stick into an anthill and watch the industrious little insects run around than see a soccer match.
That's what I asked about Atlanta, when I heard they got an MLS franchise. I believe they lead the MLS in average home attendance.
US vs. Mexico is never a “friendly”.
Ugly, chippy and hostile are better adjectives.
At least the Mexican team does not have the mercurial Miguel Herrera as manager. Herrera’s antic became the butt of jokes not only in North America, but worldwide.
Thanks, BF.
I’ll watch to see the American’s taking a corner while being pelted with debris. We’ll see if Bruce Arena’s team has made any progress.
So, illegal Mexicans playing Mexicans? Not interested. Deport them all.
Radio said this morning they’re expecting 30,000+.
Put ICE at the entrances, maybe a checkpoint to/from the event.
Game Started : 2:45 PM, EST
Correction -
ESPN2: showing Spain vs. Croatia now
Mexico vs USA, “friendly”? Doubtful.
Good sized crowd.
“Friendly”? LOL. I’ve been to a US v Mexico game. They are not friendly.
Thanks for your input. No run along and enjoy whatever sport you like and quit trying to belittle a sport that many enjoy.
