Christine Blasey Ford was a classmate of mine at UNC. We graduated in 1988. I want to ask Christine if she remembers partying at Trolls, drinking at Hes Not Here. Hooking up with guys at Henderson Street. Eating at Time Out. Remember those days, Christine? Tell us about them.
Interesting - and some of the responses to McAllister’s thread imply that Christine HAS to be believed, despite no evidence. Once again, there are those out there (not the thread starter, she’s cool) that would prefer a “guilty until proven innocent” approach to justice. Which would, essentially, not be justice at all.
Women lie. Men lie. People lie more when there is a big payout involved (GoFundMe), or when it is politically expedient to do so. That is why our system of justice requires a high level of proof, beyond a reasonable doubt. It is a safeguard that the left seems to want to remove so that mere accusations can convict, regardless of fact.
