Warner Robins, GA.
My dad(USAF Colonel) retired here.....
and most of us stayed put.
Nice!!
It’s a beautiful day, too!
Not too hot.
get a selfie dude
We made out pretty well.
I never lost power(or cable).
My brother in Hawkinsville lost both, but he’s fine now. He did have to throw out some food. Better safe than sorry. Not everything could fit in his coolers.
I saw on the news that some in Cordele are without power, but it should all be restored by Tuesday.
I just had the pleasure of spending the weekend on Lake Sinclair, just outside Millidgeville.
Thank God you made out well, my FRiend!!! I went through Sandy and it was miserable.
I WISH
Come home from running errands, turn on Fox, and BOOM . . .
Trump and Melania are in Warner Robons having a little press conference.
In the past, we have been the number one Air Force Base in the world... and more than once.
Company I worked for had glass plant in Warner Robins.
I did some consulting for Anchor Glass in W-R.
Good folks.
Hurricanes are God’s way of telling you it’s time to clean out your refrigerator...............
Know it well. My dad has a lake house there(just off Possum Point).
In 2016 Houston County(Warner Robins, Perry, Hawkinsville) came out like gangbusters for Trump.
In fact, 2 wks before the election, I made a post about extremely good early voting news from Georgia. At my location, there was a 2 hour wait to early vote. THAT WAS UNHEARD OF. I said then that I damn well knew Georgia was going TRUMP.
In fact, I posted that the longest I ever had to wait to vote at this location, on Election Day mind you, was in 2000. I waited 1:20 to vote for for George W.
Course, to make my 2016 post, Jim Rob has to unblock me.... which he did. And I am so thankful.
I haven’t been in any trouble since.
Well, I did have a dust up with Laz, but we made up.
lol
Why did the President and First Lady go to your hometown? Part of their visits to the hurricane ravaged areas?
Back in 95, we had Hurricane Erin. We lost everything in our freezer and fridge, about $200 worth of meats. That was in August.
We restocked.
Then in October we had Hurricane Opal..........Deja Vu!..................
I’m going to have to watch the local news at 6.
I think they made a stop here on their way back from Florida.
George W came to the base more than once and I know Cheney came to the base and the Perry National fair grounds.
Thanks.
My dad(USAAF P.F.C.) was stationed there for a while during WWII when it was an Army Air Forces base. I sent some of his stuff to their museum.
Might as well fly a Georgia flag on your page now that you’ve told us where you live.
