11/11 significance is not lost on me.    I know lots of vets and I am one, myself.

The parade. I was looking forward to the Vet’s Day parade. However, I’ve read in a couple places that it’s been cancelled. E.g.,

https://www.military.com/daily-news/2018/08/17/trump-cancels-big-military-parade-citing-cost.html.

And here::
https://www.foxnews.com/us/trump-military-parade-plans-unravel-over-costs

Do you know if it has been rescheduled?

On a seperate note, here’s a copy/paste of an interesting post by JockoManning:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

JustInformedTalk speculates on this video dated 19 OCT 2018 that Q will not post again until after the midterm election. His rationale is that that would be inline with the DOJ policy of avoiding influencing an election 30 days before an election.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WTkkUEgMpA

That’s quite plausible.

I think it’s also plausible that there might be some cryptic somethings between now and then. Time will tell.

I’m giving this info heavy consideration. And very much agree with the idea of protecting Q-team operations by keeping them out of the line-of-sight for election shenanigans. Oth, dare the derps bring attention to Q?? That might provide a barrier of protection so that Q will be back and post before the election.

....have to wait and see..

Yes... Vote vote vote!!!    Agree wholeheartedly.

I’m with you on rallying the troops and celebrating Q’s birthday. And, I wish your thoughts would happen as you described; however, I’m thinking the delays will probably be what transpires.

Agree re: FISA and RR.

And of course, I keep looking to see if there’s anything new from Q, as I tell myself to just wait it out.

And pray

It’s a hallucinogenic in sub toxic doses. Like LSD (IIRC, belladonna compounds were one of the research avenues towards synthetic hallucinogens). They make your pupils dilate bigly, like your brain is trying to make the openings bigger to let more information in... ;-)

A grandfather I never knew about also showed up in genealogical research and all I can find is that he fought in France in WWI and in the Spanish American War, but haven’t found any of his army records. Think I’m being hit by the same St Louis fire that did in my father’s records. Have newspaper articles about GF stopping carrying the flag during the parades when they wouldn’t let him enlist in WWII because of age.

Research makes these wonderful people live again. So glad to hear about your husband’s research.

***belladonna dilates the pupils hugely***

Belladonna used to be in Contact cold medicine; you remember Contact, the cold med that really worked! They discovered that it caused heart problems in .0000034 % of its users, so naturally had to remove it from the market.

A pharmacist friend of mine gave me a bottle of the extract, USP, which I surely needed in those days. I can't remember my eyes getting any bigger, however.

“FWIW - firing a full broadside does NOT move the ship sideways as is commonly thought. The mass of the ship and the surface are of the sides are too great for that. The ships have a gross tonnage of 54,890 tonnes (long tons). The broadside is only about 18 tonnes.”

To pic a nit, yes, firing a full broadside does move the ship sideways. Heck, throwing a stone off the side moves the ship sideways. Newtons Law of motion at play. The only debate is how much the ship is moved.

Here’s some of what va.gov says:

“World War I – known at the time as “The Great War” - officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, in the Palace of Versailles outside the town of Versailles, France. However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.

[There is a photo that I don’t know how to post. Underneath the photo it says this:

Soldiers of the 353rd Infantry near a church at Stenay, Meuse in France, wait for the end of hostilities. This photo was taken at 10:58 a.m., on November 11, 1918, two minutes before the armistice ending World War I went into effect.]

In November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day with the following words...

...The United States Congress officially recognized the end of World War I when it passed a concurrent resolution on June 4, 1926, with these words...’

Thank you much for your reply.

I do understand wanting to celebrate on the 11th. I know many vets and I am one, myself.

I know we (speaking of my immediate fam) will honor veterans on the 11th no matter what happens. Our flag will be flying high!! If we weren’t so far away, we’d be visiting the graves of relatives buried in a veteran’s cemetary.

In my family we can point to every branch of the military and name at least one family member that served in that branch. It’s a point of honor and humility. Of course there is family lore and the uncle in WWII that was in the 101st and went through D-Day all the way through the battles and came home. He died early in life after returning home. One of my nephews keeps his name close and is actively working toward serving in the military. Funny, he’s wanted that since grade school. Maybe even before.

I wonder if there will be celebrations by the govt on the 11th or the 12th. Or, both? Do you know?

I’ll be looking to follow the lead of POTUS.

Again, thank you for your reply. I did go ahead and find some info on va.gov, which I posted to you... (it was an interesting link).

Research makes these wonderful people live again. So glad to hear about your husband's research.

That is so true! My husband has been so sad about this relative, because he never got to marry or have children or know his family past age 21, and the saddest part is that none of his family ever spoke of him that we know of.

We were able to get some information from our state archives, and St. Louis did have some info. There are a couple of boxes at the National Archives that we can go through but we either have to pay someone or drive up to Maryland to do it ourselves.

What division was your grandfather assigned to? Were the Spanish American records in St. Louis also?

I found a booklet yesterday online with the history of the 81st (uncle's division) from it's creation, training, transport to England and then into France, battles, maps, etc. That was helpful because that whole part of his life was just unknown. I can at least piece together what happened week by week until his death.

Your relative sounds like a great man.

He was pretty wild. Think tall, slender, handsome, mustache, stetson and a six gun at his hip. Won and lost fortunes from Alaska down to Central America; gunfight at the bottom of a silver mine; gold miner, journalist and naturalist. Never met him, but the newspaper stories about him continued for a decade after his death.

This is Soros’ challenge to Trump. They will get the people to the southern border well before the midterms so that Trump either looks weak or they’re able to provoke violence. If family separation worked, how will tear gas work? It was not in the news when tear gas and rubber bullets were used by the Mexican Federales. You can bet it will dominate the news if our troops use anything but their bodies to block the influx. And bodies won’t work against this large an invasion. I wonder how fast a wall could go up?

INVASION: Caravan Swells to Over 7,200; Mexico Police Stand Down as Illegal Migrants March to US

FTA:
The illegal migrant caravan is sweeping through Chiapas in southern Mexico on Sunday, their numbers having jumped to over 7,000 overnight from just a few thousand as it became apparent the caravan would not be stopped by Mexico.
...
Very strange situation with police and #CaravanaDelMigrante. On the border, they aggressively blocked bridge while watching caravan cross river. This morning, hundreds set up in highway to block caravan…then left. Feels like they hope Trump is only seeing certain images”

Everything is setting up as a challenge. What are Trump’s options? Realistically?

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/10/why_hondurans_burn_tires_in_front_of_us_embassy_and_wave_honduran_flags_to_protest_us_border.html

Why caravan migrants wave Honduran flags and burn tires in front of U.S. embassy

By Monica Showalter

FTA:
Waving the flag of the country they’re desperate not to be sent back to, and burning tires in front of the Tegucigalpa-located embassy of the nation they’re supposedly desperate to live in, the Honduras caravan migrants, their organizers and their supporters don’t exactly come off as big fans of the United States.
...
It makes these caravaners rather different in kind from past immigrants to the U.S., the people who’d kiss the ground upon their arrival and who would write paeans to the golden door and the shining city on the hill.

Not these guys.

The caravan is exposing the ugly underbelly of what it’s really about — an invasion of sorts, a conquest, a bid to lay gringo low - rather than a legitimate interest in legally immigrating and assimilating into the American melting pot. The only thing such anti-American haters could possibly want in demanding to be let in, legally or not, seems to be benefits, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer, and to stick it into law-abiding America’s faces that they’re the ones who determine what the law is, not the Americans they hate. For the criminal population among them, there’s also the bigger mayhem opportunities.
...
Obviously, the caravan and its organizing leaders are intending to be a test case for President Trump, with a the defiant message that they’ll cross the U.S. border any time they like, immigration laws be damned. They’re hoping to demonstrate such a reality with huge masses of people, who will ultimately be daring the U.S. military or border guards to fire on them, the better for their leaders to cynically claim a propaganda victory over some migrant’s dead body and to ensure that as the U.S. wraps itself in pretzels over its dreaded crimes against unarmed civilians should one of them be fired upon. They know they have allies - we can count on the pope, for one, making a rare condemnation of America in such a scenario, (don’t worry, he’ll keep ignoring Middle Eastern Christians, shortchanging Ukrainian Uniates, and betraying Chinese Catholics, as well as pretending the pervert priest crisis in the West is a matter of collective guilt, not a particular protection racket), and the congressional Democrats, too. After a brouhaha is established and the media acts as their propaganda handmaid, the border will be free.

Because they know that Trump was stopped dead in his tracks when he tried to separate families at the border to disincentivize illegal border busting, and the crying toddler photos flowed in the press. The cynical organizers of this are doing a repeat of that with the caravan, full as it is with military-aged young men, and a few toddlers strategically placed out front, knowing they can beat Trump with such a propaganda weapon, and the large numbers as well.

So it makes perfect sense to burn tires and wave Honduran flags at the embassy of the nation they claim a “right” to live in, yet certainly do not like or even love. Nope, it’s all about power here, and Trump has got his hands full.
