Claire McCaskill Demands Investigation Into Project Veritas Videos – O’Keefe Responds

Endangered Missouri Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill isn’t too happy about the undercover Project Veritas videos released this week exposing her campaign.

Project Veritas has been focusing on the midterms by targeting Democrat candidates with its new series dubbed ‘Secrets and Lies.’

The videos released this week by O’Keefe were absolutely devastating to Claire McCaskill.

McCaskill’s campaign manager is now calling for Missouri Attorney General and opponent to McCaskill, Josh Hawley to recuse himself and appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Project Veritas.

Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill’s campaign manager is calling on her Republican rival’s office to investigate videos of her campaign taken by a conservative group.

Campaign manager David Kirby on Wednesday said he wants Republican Attorney General Josh Hawley to recuse himself and appoint a special prosecutor to investigate alleged consumer-law violations related to the videos.

“Imagine if this was a competitor to your business coming in and impersonating someone else and getting access to all the information,” said McCaskill. “Where is the AG’s outrage over the fraud that’s been perpetuated here?”

30-35 years ago, everyone loved it when 60 Minutes did the same thing to catch scammers.

I specifically remember a hidden camera episode investigating crooked service stations along I-75 in Georgia who scammed travelers on the way to Florida/Disney. They sabotaged the cars while checking the oil or air pressure, then charged outrageous prices to the desperate customers. Kids in the back seat whining about the delay and heat caused daddy to shell out big bucks to make all right in the world.

I see zero difference in what Veritas did. It would be interesting to ask Dan Rather about his opinion of the Veritas/McCaskill battle, then show him the clip from the 70s that he narrated.

That would be epic.

Imagine if your competitors enlisted the help of the NSA, CIA, DOJ, FBI, and numerous other alphabet agencies to bug your offices, staff, and your entire building. And imagine at least one of these agencies used your tax dollars to pay for creating a report of completely false allegations by someone whom your competitors selected, then used these false allegations to secure permissions to go after you and your staff for anything they could find. And imagine these all powerful and clandestine agencies had the full backing and encouragement of a sitting president and his entire cabinet. And imagine the entirety of the country's media corporations where 100% behind the effort.

Ms McCaskill, your lies where made known by only a handful of dedicated individuals operating fully within the law.

True Patriots all across this land would greatly rejoice if only a portion of our tax dollars used in an attempt to bring down our duly elected president would be used to bring corrupt government officials to justice.
