I don't particularly care what this author, or anyone else for that matter, thinks I need to exude to attract a woman.
I'm retired in Southeast Asia and the women here are a whole lot more honest about life and their desire for security than western women.
If you are comfortably retired you have the pick of the litter, but choose wisely.
I've never found anything in a bar that was interesting to me, but then I don't drink. That could be part of it.
The list of what I want (call me a hedonist, but I watch out for me first and foremost):
--Slim
--Fit
--Agreeable
--A good cook
--Keeps her middle class day job.
